TRAVEL

  • Load your Credit Card and Cell/Mobile phone before you travel as it saves the hassle of paying them off while travelling or paying high Interest Rates on return.
  • For extra security against pick-pockets use twisty ties to keep your zips together.
  • Take your Cell/Mobile Phone to Asia and buy a Sim Card over over there.  Send International Texts to your friends & family for as little as $0:09.
  • Make Postcards more personal.  Choose a favorite photograph from your vacation and use the back to write home.
  • If people don't mind last minute arrangements, ring hotels the day before travel and ask for stand by rates that they are normally happy to offer direct instead of through a .com website where hotels have to pay 10%.Commission.

  • When traveling take one or two 'S' shaped garden hooks (the ones that people use to hang up pot plants).  They can serve as an additional hook to hang toiletries, towels and clothes in toilets and showers.

  • In cool climates wear a glove clip on your belt, clipping on your gloves means you don't lose or forget them when you take them off.

  • Limit toiletries to what you can fit in a Fanny Bag (USA) or Bum Bag (Aust), you will save weight and the bag can be hung from a door handle or hook as it needs to be.
